Meet Gunner

Gunner is a big, playful, and affectionate boy who is currently living in a boarding facility while he waits for a foster or forever home. He was recently returned to the rescue after his adopter decided he was too large, through no fault of his own. Now, Gunner is looking for someone who will truly appreciate his size, personality, and loyal heart.

Gunner loves treats, belly rubs, and going for walks. He enjoys playing in the water, riding in the car, and being around his people. While he is fine being home alone, he truly thrives with companionship and would do best in a home where he isn’t left alone for long periods.

He is dog-friendly with slow introductions but would do best in a home without male dogs. Gunner has also done well with the cat he met, showing a calm and respectful attitude. Because of his size and energy, he would be most successful in a home with older children.

Gunner is ready to find a family that will give him the love and stability he deserves. He has so much to offer and just needs a chance to show what a wonderful companion he can be.
