Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate.  Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.  
Other:  Intact Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip 

Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption: 
8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.
12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of the adopter's choice.
16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery.  **
Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.

**Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.

4/29/25 Foster Feedback: I have been fostering Godzilla, aka Zilla, for about a week now, and she is doing fantastic! She’s a typical crazy baby who loves other dogs and really wants my cat to be her playmate. We are working on kennel and potty training. Godzilla loves to play with rope toys and chew on a Nylabone antler. This week, she’s also been exposed to some ducks and chickens! Godzilla is a super sweet girl—she runs all over and then loves to snuggle!
