Geneva goes by the nickname Neva and is the more assertive between her and her sister Ripley. It appears she feels the need to keep her sister safe so she is a bit standoffish of new dogs at first, but once she knows they are not a threat she settles in nicely.
LOVES to cuddle and be on your lap. Loves blankets and pillows, anything soft and she knows she is supposed to lay on it. She’s a champ on car rides … absolutely loves them.
She is a barker when she wants attention, keeps her kennel clean, and LOVES soft things to play on and children and humans to cuddle and love.
She thrives with clear boundaries and expectations, and once she knows the rules, she follows them like a pro. But don’t be surprised if she gives you a little test run—she loves to see what she can get away with when meeting new people. With consistency and a bit of humor, she’ll settle right in and keep you smiling every step of the way.

Geneva is from a local reservation. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.

*Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.*
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
