Frankie is 3yo, weighs 80lbs, is spayed, is up to date on his vaccines, but is not microchipped. Frankie is "very smart. She knows her toys by name. Also knows basic command - sit, down. Frankie dislikes/fears getting her nails trimmed and car rides, to the point she sometimes gets carsick. During the day, she roams the house freely and sleeps on her guardians' bed at night, in her open crate, or on the couch. She loves to go along on jogs and hikes. She loves to run and play and fetch. She has lots of energy and loves to be around people all the time. She loves to be pet and paid attention to."
Frankie's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome her: "My 2yo daughter is allergic and it is affecting her asthma. We have tried medications for her but they are not working."
Bite incident: On 20 October 2023, Frankie bit the person grooming him when she attempted t trim his toe nails; the bite broke the skin; animal control was not involved. Frankie's guardian explains: "We took Frankie to a new groomer and we informed them she doesn't like her nails clipped. We told them to muzzle her but they didn't. Frankie is not an aggressive dog at all, this is the only time she has ever bitten anyone. She bit the groomer when she went to clip her back nails."
