Dear potential adopters,

 

Hello! My legal name is Fergus, but everyone calls me Mowgli. I'm a lovable Shepherd mix with a heart full of affection. I may be a tripod (I lost a leg as a puppy), but that doesn't hold me back! I still enjoy playing and have plenty of energy, though I do need to take breaks from time to time.

 

Short walks followed by cuddles in my fluffy bed are my ideal day. I've also recently discovered that I adore cats! I'm learning that they don't always enjoy roughhousing like dogs do, so I'm respectful of their space.

 

Some of my favorite things include my bed, bones, treats, and food – especially food! My foster mom says I eat a little too fast, so I'm working on slowing down and savoring each bite.

 


I'm leash trained, house trained, and crate trained.  I'm happy to stay in a gated area with my bed, food, and water. I'm learning the house rules and new tricks, and I catch on quickly! 

I hope to find a loving home where I can share my playful spirit and gentle nature.
