Duckette, affectionately called Duckie by her foster mom, is a very sweet little girl that is full of life. She is 8 years old and weighs 20 lbs. She seems and acts much younger than 8 though. This possible Boston Terrier/Beagle mix with a beautiful brindle and white coat loves being outside investigating all the smells in the yard. She just loves to sit out in the sun watching for those pesky squirrels to run about - waiting to give chase. She walks well on a leash and is non-reactive to other dogs/walkers. She does well with other dogs small and large, and is fine with cats. She is friendly when meeting new people. Her disposition is playful with her person yet she knows how to chill. She is now house trained - with trips outside every few hours. Treats and toys don't motivate her, but she does love a chew bone. She is smart and minds well, is not much of a barker, is not destructive and can be left out in the home when you are gone. She is a little anxious riding in the car, but mostly does well. She would love a secure fenced yard where she can do zoomies and look for squirrels, and one or two walks a day is important for her. She is really just the best and friendliest girl, so loving to everyone, and will make an extra special addition to a lucky family.
