What kind of home would be best for me? Diamond would do well with nearly any adopter be they a single person, a couple, or a family. She is looking for an active, loving home where someone is around most—or ideally, all—of the day. Diamond thrives on companionship and wants to be with her people as much as possible. She’ll happily tag along on errands, patio dining outings, and coffee runs (especially if there’s a pup cup involved!).
Whether you're a single person, a couple, or a family, Diamond could be a great fit. However, families with young children should ensure their kids are gentle and respectful. Diamond is an active little girl and enjoys playing with other dogs. She is probably too energetic for most cats. Your cat needs to be dog friendly for Diamond to fit into your home.
What is my personality like? Meet Diamond Moon — or just “Diamond” to her friends! This young Boston Terrier beauty is ready for her forever home after overcoming a rough start to life. Diamond was rescued from a hoarding situation and came to us with a severe case of mange. With lots of love and care, she’s now healthy, happy, and eager to begin the next chapter of her life.
Because she loves people and is eager to please Diamond should be easy to train. She will need to learn her basic commands. If you don’t plan to carry her everywhere (per her preference), she’ll need some leash-walking practice. Diamond is full of energy and affection. She loves to play with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to romp with and learn from. That said, she’d also enjoy soaking up all your attention as an only pet. Due to her playful nature, she’s likely too energetic for most cats. Any feline roommate should be very dog-savvy.
Diamond is a joyful, affectionate, and snorty little companion—full of classic Boston Terrier charm. She’s ready to brighten your days with love, loyalty, and plenty of fun.
How do I act when I first meet new people? Diamond adores people and greets new friends with enthusiasm—and plenty of kisses!
Other tips and tidbits: Diamond Moon was born on 12/16/2023.
House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
