My tail never stops wagging! I am a happy, loveable almost 3-year-old female pitty-mix, who is very healthy andweighs in at a lean 43 pounds. I am eager to please, thrive on attention and love to go on long walks. And ofcourse, I’m house-trained. I love to snuggle and just be close to my person.I’ve completed many training sessions where I’ve learned intermediate obedience including loose-leash walking.I respond to children well; I’m gentle and approachable. It helps that I am very compliant –If a bone, food or toyis taken away from me I don’t mind at all.I am not crazy about being alone but have made great strides on this as my confidence has grown.I loved playing with my senior-canine roommate and relished her companionship, but unfortunately, she wasn’tterribly fond of me. That’s the reason I’m looking for my forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, I’myour gal!This dog’s adoption fee is reduced to $70 from May 1st to May 15th as part of “Empty the Shelters”, an adoption event hosted by the Bissell Pet Foundation to help pets across the nation find the loving adoptive homes they deserve. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
