Meet Daisy Duke! This little beagle girl wandered into the garage of a older couple's home. We aren't sure of her age, but she appears to be a younger adult beagle. As the pictures show, she was very thin. Although the couple couldn't keep her, they took good care of her until she could be picked up by Animal Control. The couple said she was quiet, content to snooze in her crate, kept her crate clean, and ate well for them.
Daisy Duke is now in a foster home with HDDCR. We don't know much of her history, but it appears that she was on her own for a while. She is adjusting nicely in her foster home. She is reportedly good with both cats and dogs. Daisy Duke will be visiting the vet for a health check-up, vaccines, microchip, and spay if needed.
If you are considering a new fur-baby, please take a look at Daisy Duke.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.
Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
