This young at heart little guy is ready to wiggle his way into your heart. A low energy dog, Cuervo is happy to be by your side or on your lap. He would do well in any type of home that can give him the attention he craves. After a proper intro, he gets along well with other dogs, but would rather relax and enjoy a peaceful coexistence rather than play with them. Cuervo's has largely ignored cats and would get along fine with a dog-savvy one in the home. He is shy at first when being introduced to new people, but since he is food-motivated, treats go a long way to show him friendship! Cuervo’s idea of a good time is taking neighborhood “sniffy” walks, luxurious naps, looking out the window, learning new tricks and getting lots of pats and cuddles.Cuervo sleeps quietly at night in a crate, and will often relax in a crate during the day with the door open or closed. He might intermittenly complain if you close the door during the day and leave, but is improving on this. Cuervo would make a perfect work from home buddy. He is working on his housetraining but with a regular potty schedule and consistency this smart boy is learning. His leash skills are improving quickly with training tools. This super smart and athletic pup has already learned some basic commands such as sit, but most impressive is his ability to walk on his hind legs! Are you looking for a loyal little companion who will be your cuddle buddy and always be by your side? Cuervo is the dog for you! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line.
