#A5628283 Cubano
is a Boxer mix who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 5/25/2024. This sweet boy may be a little shy because he’s unsure of what to make of the shelter environment but he still loves people and wants to give affection. Cubano is ready to meet his new best friend(s) and once he’s given the chance to decompress in a safe place, he’s sure to bring joy to a lucky home!
1 year 1 month, 47 lbs
Neutered male
Reddish brown with adorable white markings on his face, chest and feet
Energy level is medium-high
Playful and sweet disposition
Affectionate and loves people
Seems timid around other dogs and uncomfortable around anxious dogs
Can be a bit timid due to feeling unsafe in the hectic shelter environment
Shows signs of housebreaking
Likes treats, which will come in handy when training
Walks ok on leash but could use more practice
He’s a blank slate who needs training to learn basic manners and commands
Needs to build some confidence so he can thrive and be the playful, happy dog he is

United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed above.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.
