This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, May 3rd from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.

Meet Clover — A Sweetheart in Progress, Ready to Bloom!
Clover may have started her journey as a devoted mama dog, but now she’s ready to start her next chapter as someone’s cherished companion. This 3 year old is a young, affectionate Manchester Terrier-Minature Pinscher mix who is still discovering the world—and herself—one curious, slightly clumsy step at a time.
Clover is the definition of a diamond in the rough: full of love, charm, and potential, just waiting for the right family to help her shine. She’s sweet, affectionate, and a total cuddle bug who loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch or sleeping beside her people at night. But don’t let her tender heart fool you—this girl has energy to spare and is always ready for a good romp or an outdoor adventure.
She’d thrive in a home with another playful dog her size who can match her energy and help show her the ropes. Smaller dogs might find her a bit too enthusiastic, as she hasn't quite figured out where her body begins and ends. She’s still working on her leash skills and jumps up a lot when excited—she’s a bit of a bouncy wild child right now, but not without hope! Obedience classes and consistency will go a long way in helping her mature into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
Clover is still building confidence. She’s wary of new things—trucks, vans, and some strangers on walks can make her nervous—but she’s curious and seems open to learning, especially with a patient and reassuring human by her side. With proper socialization and exposure, her courage and comfort level are sure to grow.
She currently lives with other dogs and gets along well, even with her foster siblings who can be a little territorial. She’s a good eater, sleeps soundly, and has been living the good life—furniture privileges included! Her ideal family would be active, ready to offer consistent guidance, and home often enough to give her the affection and time she craves.
Clover is bright, loyal, and full of heart. With love, patience, and a little training, she’s going to be a wonderful companion to someone who’s ready for the joy (and the occasional chaos) of a young, loving pup still figuring things out.
