At 7 years old and 53 pounds, Cappy is a handsome Shar-Pei mix with quiet confidence and charm. Currently in foster care, he’s enjoying the comforts of home while he waits for his forever family—and his foster reports he’s an excellent house guest!
This sweet senior is house-trained and caught on to his routine quickly. He’ll even let you know when it’s time to go out. His favorite place? Curled up next to his humans on a comfy couch. He sleeps soundly through the night and loves a little sunbathing during the day. Cappy has arthritis, likely from an old injury, so he keeps things low-key. Gentle strolls, soft beds, and lots of love are all he needs. He’s great on leash and enjoys short “sniffaris” around the block.
When it comes to other dogs, Cappy is generally calm and polite with those his size, though he might be too much for smaller pups. With slow introductions—or as your one-and-only—he’ll shine.
If you’re looking for a laid-back, loving companion with soulful eyes and a wise, sweet spirit, Cappy could be your match. He’s ready to spend his golden years basking in love, attention, and plenty of sunshine!
