General Notes | Meet Brownie, a gorgeous mama with a truly sweet disposition. Just like a delicious brownie, she's full of warmth and goodness. She's been a fantastic mom to her eight little chocolate nuggets and is now looking forward to being cherished and loved in her own right. Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Personality | This loving mama is clearly living her best life in foster care, basking in all the adoration (and honestly, who can blame her?). She is great with the other dogs in her foster family and also enjoys coming over for petting time with her foster mom during her nursing breaks. And get this – she's even cool as a cucumber when her foster family handles her little nuggets. What a gem!Story | Brownie and her babies were pulled from a high-kill shelter in Houston. They are currently in a loving foster home and will be on their way to Colorado soon!Other Dogs | Brownie has done great with the other dogs in her foster home! She hasn't been very playful with them, but is happy to share space with them. Cats | Brownie has not been cat tested yet.Children | Brownie has a sweet disposition and would most likey be good with kind, respectful children. Training | Brownie's training will start once she's done taking care of her puppies full-time!Leash | She walks well on the leash and doesn't pull! You can see in the video included in her profile just how politely she walks on a leash! :)Activity Level | Moderate. Motherhood may have graced Brownie with wisdom, but it hasn't dimmed the exuberant puppy that still flickers within, especially when a toy is involved – whether it's a spirited game of tug or unleashing her natural retriever instincts in a flurry of happy fetching activity.Health Notes | Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age.
