She’s still learning the ropes and will need help with all the puppy basics - leash walking, potty training, and general manners - but she’s eager to grow with the right guidance. Buffy may also thrive with a calm, friendly dog sibling to show her the way and help build her confidence, especially with slow and thoughtful introductions. Up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! However, Buffy picked up a little doggy cold at the shelter, which is already being treated - will need to be adopted on a health waiver, adopter to follow up with own vet for further diagnostics and potential treatment


Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/15/25 as an owner surrender - but we have no notes and no idea why, as Buffy is such a sweet little love muffin!

terrified and frozen at the shelter, so much so that she needed to be carried before being willing to walk on the leash


will warm up and gain so much confidence in the right household, so that she can be her natural adorable and enthusiastic self


needs patience, consistency, and plenty of love! 


Also needs confidence building and time to relax and build trust


could use all the puppy basics training-wise - leash work, potty training, and basic manners/commands


could make a good little sister to other pups you may have, as long as you go slow and make the appropriate introductions
