Meet Bert – Your Future Couch Cuddler!


This big, goofy sweetheart is an almost 6-month-old hound mix with a heart as big as his paws! He's going to be a large dog when fully grown and is already showing signs of being a gentle giant in the making.

 

Bert is a total cuddle bug who loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch after a good play session. He sleeps soundly through the night and gets along great with other dogs. Still young and learning, he needs continued help with socialization and understanding boundaries—but he's eager to please and picks things up quickly with the right guidance.

 

If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will grow right into your heart (and maybe onto your lap!), Bert might just be the perfect fit.



Bert's adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives, plus a free basic training course at Cedar Run in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of keeping their pets altered and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
