LOCATIOLOCATION: Dickinson, TXDOB: 10/19/2020Introducing Bentley, a striking blue merle Great Dane with a heart as grand as his frame. Bentley is a dignified gentleman. Once he understands that your lap isn’t quite built for his size, he’s perfectly content to lie close by, soaking in the comfort of your presence.Bentley takes his role as home guardian seriously. With a deep, commanding voice, he’ll alert you to anyone approaching his territory, always making sure his loved ones feel safe and secure. He’s a loyal protector, watchful and aware, but never reckless. He’s looking for a home that understands the importance of patience and slow introductions with dogs, one that can offer him space, structure, and time to settle in. Once he meets them slowly, he will be any dog's best friend! He loves to play and zoom. With children, Bentley is calm and composed, understanding instinctively how to soften his approach. Though he may occasionally forget his size, his gentle nature always shines through. Touch is his love language—whether it's a quiet lean, a paw placed on your lap, or resting his head near your feet, Bentley knows how to make you feel like the most important person in the world. One thing to note about Bentley is that he has separation anxiety. He is known to destroy blinds in the house and break out of crates. He will need an owner that is home more than they are away, and one willing to work on his crate training skills! He’s smart and responsive, already fluent in commands like sit, down, shake, and come. He listens, he learns, and most of all, he loves deeply and loyally. If you’re searching for a companion who will watch over your home, walk by your side, and fill your world with quiet strength and affection, Bentley is waiting. His love is steady, warm, and ready for a place to call forever.========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .For more information, please email us at rescueme@srgdrr.org.
