Hi there! My name is Ben and I'm a 4-year-old, neutered, Shepherd mix that currently weighs about 66lbs. I'm a timid sweetheart that's still learning how to "dog". So far, I'm enjoying my time here at PHS! I'm experiencing a bunch of new things like going for walks, getting cuddles, and making new human and dog friends! Walks and cuddles are my favorite! I don't mind the company of other dogs, but I'm not really sure how to play yet. I'm hoping for a patient and loving family that is prepared to continue teaching me how to be a member of the family. I'm a pretty big boy, so experience with large breed dogs is a plus! Please be sure to bring the entire household, including any resident dogs, so we can get properly acquainted before I join the family. Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by submitting your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to adoptinquire@peninsulahumanesociety.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. You must be 18 or older to submit a profile.
