Are you looking for your new best friend or maybe the perfect playmate for your pup? Beefcake is your guy! He plays wonderfully with other dogs (tag and wrestling are his favorite), but if there aren’t any dogs to play with, he also enjoys a game of tug or fetch with his humans!
If you’re looking for a weighted blanket, look no further. When it’s time to relax, this goofball transforms into a loaf, and his preferred cuddle position is directly on top of you. He’ll never say no to a movie night, but he has no preference on genre; so it’s your pick every night! He’s also very quiet and isn’t bothered by outside noises/ sights (e.g., mailman, lawnmowers, garbage trucks, passing dogs, etc.); so he makes for a great WFH partner too.
He would love to have a doggie sibling (especially one that can match his playful energy) but would also be just fine as a solo pup (more snuggles for him!). He’s house- trained and crate-trained. He loves to learn and picks things up very quickly – he already knows Sit, Down, Paw, Place. He also walks well on leash (except when he spots a squirrel).
Other things to know:
He hasn’t had the chance to meet any cats, but he’s curious when he sees them in the neighborhood.
He doesn’t live with children, but has met several kiddos at adoption events and is always happy to let them pet him and give him treats. Given his size and energy, he’d probably do great in a home with kids that are over 5 years of age.
His adopters will also receive 1 complimentary training session with Julia Avery (@blueberrylemondrop) (either virtual or in-person, if local) to help with the introduction of your new family member!

Pour toute adoption, nous demandons des justificatifs afin de compléter le dossier de l’adoptant : une pièce d’identité, un justificatif de domicile original de moins de 3 mois, et le certificat d’engagement et de connaissance des besoins spécifiques de l’espèce complété et signé 7 jours avant l’acquisition de l’animal.
Nous demandons également une participation financière, couvrant les frais vétérinaires dont l’animal a bénéficié lors de sa prise en charge (stérilisation, identification, vaccination, etc..). Si l’animal n’est pas encore stérilisé lors de l’adoption, un chèque de caution de 300€ est demandé.
