Once upon a time, Austero had a loving foster home. He is looking for a new chance at love, and a real life with a forever home. He and his foster sister Lucy lost their loving foster mommy after many years of her battling cancer. She had given them the promise to never give up on them, to find them their forever homes. Sadly, she was unable to keep her promise to them. While his sister Lucy may have found herself foster, Austero has not had as much luck. But we are not going to let his foster mom's attempts Fo to find him a warm and welcoming home go in vain.

Austero is a sweet, playful boy, though a bit shy at first. He comes out of his shell with most other large dogs, and once he trusts his person. Women are easier than men for him, so he will need someone with patience and understanding. He is dog friendly but finds cats way too interesting. He needs a home with older children as his play style can knock a little one over. UTD on vaccines and neutered, he is ready to find his family. 7 years young and still has that spunk.
