Arnella!
Arnella is a sweet spayed female Mastiff who is approximately 2 years old with kind eyes, a beautiful blue-grey coat, and a docked tail. The shelter environment is weighing on Arnella a little, so if you see her in her kennel you’ll probably find her in a bit of a defeated, timid disposition- but don’t let this fool you! She is ready to connect with someone! She is a bit cautious and guarded with people at first, but once you show her that you just want her to feel safe and loved, she returns the favor and her true gentle and loving nature starts to shine. She wants to build trust with whoever she is with, and all she wants is that trust reciprocated! With her more gentle nature, she is easy enough to take on walks and enjoys relaxing in the open air.

Arnella is good with other dogs and while she initially is guarded and timid with them, after an initial period she warms up and engages in a gentle play style.
Arnella loves walks and enjoys walking with her person, but like many dogs she can have a gentle pull in the beginning due to excitement. Overall, she has a low-medium energy level.

United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed above.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.
Pour toute adoption, nous demandons des justificatifs afin de compléter le dossier de l’adoptant : une pièce d’identité, un justificatif de domicile original de moins de 3 mois, et le certificat d’engagement et de connaissance des besoins spécifiques de l’espèce complété et signé 7 jours avant l’acquisition de l’animal.
Nous demandons également une participation financière, couvrant les frais vétérinaires dont l’animal a bénéficié lors de sa prise en charge (stérilisation, identification, vaccination, etc..). Si l’animal n’est pas encore stérilisé lors de l’adoption, un chèque de caution de 300€ est demandé.
