My name is Arlo. I’m intelligent, funny, charming, lovable, extremely energetic, and so handsome. I need lots of attention and a job to do. I hate being left alone for long periods. And I must have lots of cuddle time. I enjoy doing fun activities and learning. True to my breed, I also like to herd my sisters. I’m the perfect cuddle buddy, and I like to watch TV with my human. I really like shows with animals, especially other dogs. I can jump almost 6 feet into the air, so I need a minimum 6 ft fence when I play outdoors. I like most adults. But small kids make me very uncomfortable. I move hard and fast, and don’t realize my own strength. I like other dogs, but I can be protective of my food and toys. I prefer to be around female dogs. And I don’t like dominant, pushy dogs. I would be an awesome therapy dog, or something cool like that. I can run fast and jump high, so I would also be awesome at agility. I need a parent who can recognize and appreciate my amazing abilities, and will continue to bring out the best in me. Is that you?

Puppies
that are under 4 months old cannot be adopted outside of our Veterinary Service area. Please call for specific locations.
Children under 8 years old
often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs. In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children.
Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!
