This is a sweet southern lady, who has sugar in her blood is Angie. She is breaking out of her shell fast to make new friends, receive tons of pets, and showing off her silly side. Our young,10-month-old, and lively lady is a Boxer/Australian cattle dog mix. She weighs around 40 pounds and is expected to get a bit bigger but remain in the medium size category of under 60 pounds.Angie is a younger pup and super friendly. She is friendly to both dogs, children and adults and very gentle. She enjoys spending her time running and playing with other pups. Angie can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly to kindness and gentle affection. Angie has not been introduced to cats since coming into rescue, so her acceptance of a feline companion is unknown at this time. She exhibits a medium energy level that works in her favor with lots of play, exploration and fun adventures. Indoors or out, Angie is looking to fit into a fairly active lifestyle that will keep her mind and body in prime shape. Regular exercise and continued commit to training and lots of socialization are the keys to happiness for Angie. She is ready to step up to the plate and score a homerun with a loving family to call her own.She is currently learning her house, crate and leash walking skills. Angie is working hard on all three and will need the continued guidance of her family to make it to the finish line. With a bunch of love to give her family, Angie will be an endless source of love. Her sweet disposition will be a source of many fun and happy tales. Her enthusiasm will go the distance, and she will fall right into the role of a great canine companion. * Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine.
