Angel is 2yo, weighs 92lbs, is intact (however, her guardian will arrange for spay surgery prior to rehoming), is up to date on her vaccines, and is microchipped. Angel's guardian adds:
"Angel knows 'sit', 'down', 'paw', and will wait to eat on command. She dislikes/fears balloons, vacuums, bikes, and car rides (she's very anxious). She's permitted free roam of the house during the day except for bedrooms, and she sleeps on her bed or in her crate at night. Angel currently eats Authority Sensitive Stomach + Skin Lamb & Rice Formula. Angel deserves a stable home with someone that is able to give her attention 24/7 rather than being home and occasionally walked by different dog walkers/house sitters or in boarding places… She’s also not fond of car rides so bringing her is not an option even though I’ve tried. It hurts but I know she deserves so much better than I can offer her. I’ve went back and forth about it for months now and it’s finally time for me to make the best decision."
Angel's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome her: "Moving in August and starting a job that will require me to travel and be on the road a lot."
Angel's guardian offers a brief a medical history: "Environmental allergies and we help this by wiping her completely down with Pet MD Chlorhexidine Antiseptic Wipes after coming inside from walks or playing, cleaning her crate tray every other date, minimizing dust in the house or collected on her crate, and washing her blankets and beds weekly. Vets recommend allergy shots; however, we've used the above methods as a cost efficient way to maintain her allergies instead and it works wonders."
Angel's guardian states the following regarding children: Angel has lived with and lives with young children, ages 3-5, so her guardian recommends her living with children, stating...
"Angel is very playful and LOVES attention. She is a gentle giant with kids of all ages. She can get overly excited and overestimate her power when kids are excited but she knows to calm down on command. She grew up with my daughter who was a very curious and hyperactive 3 year old. She’s never reacted to my daughter pulling her tail, moving her food, taking her toys, or anything. We worked on all of those reactive behaviors since she was a puppy."
Angel's guardian states the following regarding dogs: Angel lived with another dog, so her guardian recommends her living with dogs, stating "Angel has lived with another dog her age for a short while. They played very well together after being slowly introduced."
Angel's guardian states the following regarding cats: Since Angel has never lived with nor otherwise been around cats, her guardian doesn't recommend her living with cats.
Angel's guardian describes her as:
Very active
Playful

"Angel’s ideal family is one who is very active and lives in a single family home with lots of space for her to roam. Fenced backyard is a plus but definitely not required. A family with young / middle aged kids that love to be outside and can play with her is also a plus! She will get tired and so will they! ;)"
