Looking for a laid-back, loving companion? Meet Andy, your new best friend. Andy is a kind-hearted and easygoing pup who is ready to find a forever home where he can relax, be loved, and enjoy life.
Andy came to us from a hoarding situation and arrived in rough shape. But with time, care, and lots of love, he's blossomed into a handsome heartthrob who turns heads wherever he goes!
He’s the perfect medium size—not too big for apartment life—but he’ll need a few walks a day to keep his body and mind active. If you have a house with a fenced-in yard, Andy would absolutely love the chance to run and play. He’s also a fan of other dogs and gentle with kids, so he’d be thrilled to share his space with both!
Having lived around dogs his whole life, Andy would do best in a home with another canine companion. He hasn't been tested with cats yet, but given his calm and friendly nature, we believe he’d likely be just fine with a respectful feline housemate.
Andy may not know his basic commands yet, and leash walking is still a work in progress—he may pull when something catches his eye—but his chill personality makes him a great walking buddy. With a bit of training (and lots of love and treats), he’ll thrive. Every moment you invest in teaching him will help build his confidence and strengthen the bond between you.
Whether you’re single, a couple, or a family with kids, Andy is ready to fit right into your life. He’s sweet, gentle, affectionate, and ready to love you with his whole heart.
If you're searching for a loyal, relaxed, and loving pup who will transition smoothly into your home and heart, Andy is your guy.
What is my personality like? Andy is a kindhearted dog that gets along well with all the dogs here. He hasn’t been tested with cats, but his chill personality leads us to believe he’d be fine with cats as long as they are fine with him in the home.
How do I act when I first meet new people? Andy is a sweet and gentle guy that loves people and has never met a stranger.
Other tips and tidbits: Andy was born on 3/26/2023.
House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
