This gentle, calico beauty is happiest when she's curled up in your lap, purring like a tiny motor and snoozing the day away. She’s soft, serene, and sweet as can be—more of a professional napper than an athlete, though she will lazily chase a wand toy if you tempt her enough. Her favorite activities? Lounging in sunbeams, nestling into cozy blankets, and turning your lap into her personal cloud. She may move slow (hence the name), but she loves big—with endless headbutts and sleepy snuggles that will melt your heart.Snails came to us with her siblings after being found abandoned in a box at a bus stop, cold and in need of some food. Since then, she’s blossomed in her foster home, into a healthy, confident, and ultra-affectionate kitten. She’s great with kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs. She’s also fully litterbox trained, enjoys both wet and dry kitten food, and is only mildly offended by the sound of the vacuum cleaner (her solution: hide under the blanket and go back to sleep).Snails is FeLV/FIV negative and will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed—ready to head to her forever home on May 20, 2025. In the meantime we can set up a time to meet! Snails is bonded with her siblings, Worms (orange male) and Caterpillar (female Calico, and we’d love to see her adopted with one (or both!) of them—or into a home with another young cat companion. Kittens like Snails thrive best with a buddy to cuddle and grow up with.(And yes, her name is Snails. What can we say? When you’re this sleepy, snuggly, and adorable, you earn the right to a name that makes people smile.)If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and utterly precious companion, Snails is ready to snuggle her way into your heart. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
