Sir Benedict the Gray of Humboldt House
Hear ye, hear ye: Sir Benedict the Gray of Humboldt House requests an audience! This large, regal gentleman has the softest fur you’ll ever pet and purrs like a well-tuned engine at the lightest touch. Each morning, he winds between your legs with a steady rumble while you make your coffee, then begs for pets as you sip it on the couch—purring all the while like the loyal companion he is. A true connoisseur of calm, Sir Benedict adores lap-brushing sessions and dramatic window-watching poses (gargoyle style, of course). He prefers ribbon toys to noisy playthings and is more inclined toward dignified games than chaotic ones. Sir Benedict is a distinguished soul with a charming little snaggle tooth and a snuggle bug’s heart. He’s tolerant of young whippersnapper kittens, but far prefers the refined company of quiet, adoring humans. He always greets your return with affection and unwavering devotion. Yes, he occasionally coughs up a hairball—such is the price of majesty—but make no mistake, this noble boy is a sweetheart through and through. If you seek a companion who treasures cozy napping spots, constant companionship, and endless affection, Sir Benedict is ready to grace your home with his serene, stately presence.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
$300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$200 for kittens (6 months & under)
$125 for cats (older than 6 months)
$75 for senior cats (8 years or older)
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
