Meet Shoyu! The first kitten rescued from our “Japanese Restaurant Litter”! He and his six siblings were found outside a Japanese restaurant in the East Bay and are estimated to be born in early April.
Shoyu is an affectionate, confident, and playful boy who loves people and isn’t shy about making new friends. He’s incredibly friendly and outgoing, making him a wonderful fit for a busy, loving household. Shoyu gets along great with children, other cats, and even dogs—he’s the total package!
If you’re looking for a sweet and social companion who will bring joy and energy into your home, Shoyu might be your perfect match!
Shoyu is now available for meeting and adoption now and will be ready to go home by May 30th. He will come neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations.
Looking to welcome him home sooner? We’re happy to coordinate his neuter appointment with you.
To meet Shoyu in person, please fill out our adoption questionnaire:

Please note: Kittens this young must be adopted in pairs or into a home that already has a playful resident cat.
