You can apply for Quinnie at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab. ❤️
Quinnie is a beautiful longhaired silver Tabby female kitten born approximately July 25, 2024. Quinnie and her 2 sisters were found in an elderly person’s yard in Miami, and we were then asked to take them in. Quinnie is a unique kitten with a few special needs. Despite her tough start in life, her sweet and loving personality shines, and she deserves to find her perfect forever home.
Quinnie was born with Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), a rare heart defect that required heart surgery to save her life and improve her health. She is fully recovered and ready to find her perfect forever home. Quinnie is just the sweetest kitty, and her history of PDA doesn't slow her down. She is silly, curious, and playful, and she will thrive in a home with a friendly, similarly aged kitty to play and cuddle with. Quinnie loves jumping and chasing wand toys, running on the cat wheel, and enjoying playtime with other kitties.
Special Needs: She requires a heart muscle support pill every 12 hours. (She is good at taking her medication.) It’s recommended that she see the cardiologist again in 6-8 months, and then every 8-12 months as she continues to grow older. We are hoping she will eventually be able to come off of the medication.
Quinnie is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies). She is litter box trained and is being fostered in Delray Beach, FL.
