URGENT — I’m Losing My Home on 5/12 Please… don’t let me be left behind.
Hi… my name is Oscar.
For seven years, I’ve lived a quiet life. I’m not a bold cat. I don’t ask for much. My favorite thing in the world is my little basket — it’s where I sleep, where I hide when I’m scared, and where I feel safe. But now everything is changing, and I don’t know why.
My person is moving. And she isn’t taking me with her.
I don’t understand. I’ve been a good boy. I’m gentle. I keep to myself. I get nervous around new people and loud noises, but I try really hard to be brave. If you give me time, I’ll start to trust you. I’ll even come up for pets. I want to be loved — I just don’t always know how to ask.
I have a condition called podo-dermatitis in my front paws. It makes them a little tender, but I’ve been seeing a vet, and I’m doing well. I’m also up-to-date on my shots and have been taken care of… until now.
I get along with other cats just fine. Dogs make me nervous. People do too, at first. But I promise — there’s a loving heart under all this shyness. I just need someone who will give me the chance to show it.
I have until May 12th to find a new home or foster. After that… I don’t know what will happen to me.
Please, if there’s space in your heart and home for a scared, sweet boy who just wants to feel safe again… will you let me come stay with you?
