November is a quiet, thoughtful soul who came to us from a hoarding situation. She finds comfort in the presence of other cats, but she also has an independent spirit that shines when given a little space. While she enjoys the company of feline friends, she’s actually more open and interactive with people when she’s on her own or with low-key cats like August. Around more reserved cats like March, she tends to mirror their caution and becomes harder to engage. November enjoys gentle pets but needs slow, calm approaches—sudden movements can startle her. Though she’s not quite ready to be picked up, she’s growing more confident every day and has a sweet side that peeks out more and more with time. She absolutely loves treat time (Temptations are her favorite!) and has a playful side, especially with toys she can bat around, tunnels, and fishing rod-style wands. November would thrive in a quiet, patient home with someone who understands the value of earning a shy cat’s trust. With time, love, and a few treats, she’ll be a wonderful, gentle companion.
All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.
An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.
Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.
Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
