Luna is a stunning two-and-a-half-year-old cat with a heart full of love and a story of resilience. She was once a stray in a neighborhood, surviving on her own until a tragic dog attack left her badly injured. Thankfully, a kind person found her, nursed her back to health, and showed her the kindness she had never known. Now fully healed, Luna is searching for her forever home where she can feel safe and loved. Due to her past trauma, she needs to be the only pet, as other animals make her anxious. Luna is an affectionate and independent companion who enjoys lounging in sunny spots and making biscuits on soft blankets. She loves quiet moments and will happily curl up beside you while you read or relax. Brushing time is her favorite, and she leans in for gentle strokes that make her sleek fur shine. She spends much of her day perched on her cat tower, watching the world go by with calm curiosity.

Luna is from a stray surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
