Say hello to Lou! This little fellow was found on a golf course and was very afraid when he first came to the shelter, but with a lot of time and TLC, he's bloomed into a sweet little boy.Playtime is Lou's favorite part of the day. Wand toys? He's all over them. Mouse toys? They don’t stand a chance. He's a young, energetic guy who finds pure joy in every swat, pounce, and zoomie. He's still a bit shy when first meeting new people and is scared by loud noises, but if you approach him gently and give him a little time to get to know you, he'll gladly accept your affection. Once he's relaxed and gets to know you, he's a purr machine and a big biscuit maker. He's also very curious about people. He listens intently as people have conversations around him. Or watches while you play with or visit other cats. If you look over you can sometimes catch him doing a head tilt as if he’s saying Hmm, interesting. Just please don't pet him on his back near his butt or his belly. He's not a fan and can get mouthy. Lou's ideal home would be quiet and calm one . A cat savvy owner who is willing give Lou some time to settle in and adjust would be best.
