Lily was found on the street, beat up with shallow wounds covering her entire body. But despite her injuries, stress and anxiety, she was amiable to her rescuers who scooped her up into a carrier and brought her to get urgent medical aid.
As time wore on, Lily’s wounds healed, but the trauma of her experience lingered. She is fairly reserved and takes a bit of time to begin trusting a newcomer, but once you’re in, you’re in! Lily is quiet and laid back, and you would never know she was in the room unless you saw her with your eyes. She prefers a peaceful sunny afternoon nap, over boisterous play or a big crowd. She’s very affectionate on her own terms, but can be aloof at times. She doesn’t seem to mind the company of low energy, docile dogs that mind their own beeswax; however she is cat selective.
Lily has been with her foster for 8 months healing and decompressing. And now, she is finally ready to find her forever family, just in time for the holidays!
Lily is a 2 year old Russian Blue Mix.
She comes spayed, fully vaccinated and litter trained.
