Meet King Koopa & Wendy O – A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home! These two sweethearts had a loving home, but sadly, their mama passed away, and they suddenly found themselves at the Placer County SPCA. That’s when we at Umbrella of Hope were asked to step in—and of course, we said yes. Koopa was originally with us as a kitten until he was adopted to be a companion for Little One, who thrives best with a feline friend by her side. Now, they're back with us, still bonded and still so full of love to give. King Koopa is the confident explorer. He’s the first to come say hi and loves to hang out on your desk while you work, keeping you company and supervising your productivity. Wendy O is more reserved at first—she needs a little extra time to feel safe—but once she does, she blossoms. She loves relaxing in the windowsill, soaking in the sunshine and watching the birds outside. They both have gentle souls and just need a patient, loving human to help them feel secure again. And yes—they absolutely adore their afternoon wet food treat! If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this bonded pair of lovebugs, please email beourpet@gmail.com. Let’s find them the happy ending they deserve.
