She might be named after the famous musician and singer, but you're not going to be getting cheap thrills from this girl!  If anything, you're getting trills!  Janis Joplin (the cat) was discovered in a warehouse parking lot with her friend Joe.  She was trapped and taken to LCCR in the hopes of finding a home.  Since she was taken to a foster home, Janis has become best friends with her foster moms!  They seemed to given her hope that other humans will want her to join their family someday!  She doesn't mind if there are other kitties in the household, but she's not fond of puppy dogs! Although she can be a little shy around strangers, it doesn't take much to gain her trust and take a piece of her heart!


If we were you, we would want to get her while we can because she is quite the catch!  She's a lively little girl with a knack at squeezing herself through the tiniest spaces!  You can always coax her though with some snacks or wet food!  She loves attention and usually wants them in the form of ear and belly rubs!  And of course, if you try (a bit harder), you'll definitely win her over with mice toys, balls, and things on strings!

Janis Joplin's adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
