Hi I'm Galaxie, and like my name implies, I'm as dark and beautiful as the night sky! Black cats like me are less likely to be adopted, but im here to show you why we're awesome!



I'm very talkative and like to communicate in a series of chirps, purrs, and meows. I'm super playful and love most toys, my favorites being anything I can bat around and chase. I also really enjoy birdwatching and spending time with my human. I love pets and I am learning to like being picked up as

well. I have no trouble letting you know when i want to cuddle, and will crawl up onto you.



I can be shy at first, but once I warm up to you, we're best friends! I like other cats and would do well with a kitty playmate, but I am not a fan of dogs. I haven't really been around kids, but i think I would be fine with them. I would probably also be okay as a single pet as long as I had plenty of humans to entertain me.


 

I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at one of our adoption events.
