Hi, I'm Emma! I was rescued in Stockton, CA.   I am a petite and beautiful girl with rare dilute calico patterns. I am playful, energetic, curious, sweet and food-loving.    My fosters have given me the "Most Improved Award" out of all their cats they've fostered. When I first arrived in foster, I was shy and somehow figured out how to open drawers to hide behind them. But in just a little over a week, I have completely blossomed into a confident, fun-loving, active and affectionate kitty. I am smart and learn quickly - although I was skittish at first, once I got a few experiences of my new humans being gentle and kind, I became trusting. My fosters were amazed by how visible my progress is - turns out I am a confident cat disguised as a shy cat!   Now that I'm more comfortable and relaxed, I am showing a big personality. I am very curious and active -  except for nap hours, I like to be out and about checking things out and participating in anything that's happening. I will never say no to any form of playtime. I love my humans - I will go up to them, already purring loudly and explicitly requesting hangout time. I love to get pets and scratches everywhere, even belly rubs! My purrs are so loud for my petite size, and my capacity for love is infinite - I will come back to my humans over and over and over again, headbutting them for more affection.    I can be your solo cat or a playful friend to your cat. I play well with other cats and can often be found running around initiating chases with them.
