At 13 years old, Darien has mastered the art of cozy living. He’s happiest curled up beside you, politely asking for pets, quietly observing the world around him, and squeezing in and out of tight spaces for fun. He has a gift for making fast friends, and greets everyone he meets with polite headbutts and purrs.

Darien recently had a small mast cell tumor removed from his ear which was considered low-grade, and he’s otherwise in great health with no medications or special needs. His previous owner reported that he has lived with children of all ages, making him a perfect fit for families looking for a tolerant, mellow kitty cat.

While he hasn’t lived with other pets before, his easygoing nature suggests he may be open to a gentle companion. Mostly, he’s looking for a peaceful home where he can nap, get plenty of head scratches, and be near his people.
