Meet Candace – A Shy but Sweet Survivor
Candace has had a rough start, and her journey to trust has been a slow one. Found outside with a can stuck on her head, she’s still learning that people can be kind. This gentle girl takes time to warm up, but once she does, she shows glimpses of the loving companion she wants to be.
She needs a quiet, patient home with someone who understands that trust isn't built overnight. With time, love, and a little space to feel safe, Candace has the potential to blossom into a devoted feline friend. If you’re looking for a rewarding bond with a cat who truly needs you, Candace might be the perfect match.

All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.
An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.
Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.
Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals.

Pour toute adoption, nous demandons des justificatifs afin de compléter le dossier de l’adoptant : une pièce d’identité, un justificatif de domicile original de moins de 3 mois, et le certificat d’engagement et de connaissance des besoins spécifiques de l’espèce complété et signé 7 jours avant l’acquisition de l’animal.
Nous demandons également une participation financière, couvrant les frais vétérinaires dont l’animal a bénéficié lors de sa prise en charge (stérilisation, identification, vaccination, etc..). Si l’animal n’est pas encore stérilisé lors de l’adoption, un chèque de caution de 300€ est demandé.
