This little sweetie was rescued by a family in Brighton, ergo the name! She had been born under their deck and her mom apparently forgot her when she moved her other babies. After waiting to make sure mom was not returning for her, they managed to get her out from under the deck and brought her inside. She was scared but not aggressive. Since their resident cat was not happy about this youngster, they contacted us to see if we could take her. Of course we did. This girl has the most beautiful markings, and is considered to be a classic tabby with subtle swirls of dark gray. Little Brighton joined a group of other kittens a bit older, but fit right in. She became one of the gang and soon began to come out of her shell. Still a bit shy at first she warms up quickly and as soon as you pick her up that purr motor starts revving! She loves to sleep with her foster mom and the others and playtime is always a rough and tumble party. She would be a great addition to a loving and somewhat active family with pets. Like most kittens they do like to have other playmates, so we don’t want her being an only kitty.
She had limited exposure to a dog with no adverse reaction. Most felines can acclimate to canines with proper introduction, generally because they truely believe the saying, "cats rule and dogs drool"! If you are ready for this type of adventure please be sure to have your application submitted and approved before meeting her because you will fall in love with her sweet nature.
