Brad is a very friendly, loving boy with a particularly cute unique ear shape! He has done his time on the streets earning scars like that, and he is ready to be cherished in an indoor home. He absolutely loves people and would be your best friend! He has a lot of love to give, and he would be there for you in hard times. He knows what those are like.
Brad does test positive for FIV. This virus was once thought to be very scary and transmissible, but it really just means a lowered immune system, and it isn't spread through casual contact. Cats fight with each other on the street, and sweet Brad was likely picked on, leading to the deep bite wound that transmits the virus. Cats with FIV can live just as long as cats without, and they simply need good food, prompt wellness care, and an indoor home--the same as any Catsnap cat! Could you make room in your life for Brad?
Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!
If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.
We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.
Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.
All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:
Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus
Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)
Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment
Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions
