Blue is a gorgeous and playful cat who has come a long way in his journey to feeling safe and loved. He enjoys Churu treats, gentle pets, and playtime with stuffed mice and string toys. Though he has made great progress, Blue is still a cautious kitty who will thrive in a quiet, patient home with an experienced adopter who understands his need for a calm and predictable environment. He is not a good fit for a home with children, as he is still carrying the trauma of his past, having nearly starved before being rescued.

Blue has done well in an apartment with one person caring for him, and he will need a compassionate adopter who can continue to help him feel secure. He is FeLV-positive, so he must remain an indoor-only cat with plenty of access to fresh water and wet food. Thanks to Palo Alto Humane Society, he has received much-needed dental care and is now happy and healthy, ready for a loving home where he can continue to flourish.
