Black Jack is a thinker and stalker, he likes to observe before engaging and he is also the first one of the litter to 'game on' with body language and actions with his siblings. He has the cutest body language! He is very playful and would love to have another playful cat/kitten in the home too. When he is tired he appreciates snuggling more with his human. He is in a foster home with 3 big cat savy dogs and does fine interacting with them.
Momma Pixy came into the care of Hope 3/2/2024 via Iowa Stars for Animals after being taken in off the streets by a good citizen in Iowa. No one claimed the pregnant cat and she was not microchipped.
Momma Pixy's litter of 6 were born 3/4/25: Chuckles (M); Razzle (M); O'Henry (M); Black Jack (M); York (F); Carmello (F)
Kitten Adoption fee is $125.00 which includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines/cares, and microchip. Kitten Special 2 kittens.$200.00

This litter does need a bit more time with their mom and to get further along in vetting, but they will be debuting at at event 5/4/2025 (check Hope Facebook page) to meet people. We will now begin accepting applications on them, knowing they will not be joining their new homes until 2nd to 3rd week in May.
Until vetting complete including spay/neuter applicants must be within 45 minutes of Des Moines to complete required rescue vetting.
Adoptors will be responsible for taking to and from spay/neuter appts scheduled by Hope at one of our vet partners in July. There is no rescheduling of the appt; Hope covers the cost.
