Batta is a chill cat, who is happy to snuggle up while you watch the latest Netflix series or work on your laptop. He would be an ideal cat for someone who has a busy life, but wants a low-key companion. He loves to play and to engage with you, but is also ok on his own while you are at work – as long as you promise him lots of snuggles and a bit of playtime when you come home.

One of his most charming traits is his vocalizations. If you like a cat who will have a pleasant conversation with you, look no further than Batta. He coos! He makes sounds like an owl,!  He greets you with a soft meow, and has a rumbly purr like a prized ’65 Mustang!

The FIV virus is not a reason to pass over Batta. It is not transmissible to people or to non-cat species and is not a death sentence.   It simply reduces a cat's immune system as the cat ages, which can leave the cat more vulnerable to other feline infections later in life. Cat to cat transmission does not occur with casual contact and it is not airborne.
