Hi.
I’m Bagheera. Some call me Gary. Don’t ask how that happened — humans are strange, but I’ve learned to roll with it. I answer to both, especially if snacks are on the table.
I’m nearly 8 years old now, and while I’m small in size, I carry a presence that fills the room. Small but mighty — that’s me. I’ve got a big personality tucked into this sleek little body, and I don’t mind letting you know when I have something to say. I’m a talker. I like to tippy-tap my paws and chatter when we have our conversations. It’s my thing.
I’m not a lap cat, not really. I’m more of a “I’ll come to you when I’m ready” kind of girl. I’m selective about affection, but I do love it — just on my terms. If you put your hand out, I’ll pet myself!. I don’t need much…someone who respects that love can be quiet and subtle and still very real.
Things are changing fast. I’m losing my home through no fault of my own, and I need to find a new one by mid-June. Somewhere I can be myself — quirky, sweet, and just a little dramatic. I’ve been through a lot, but I still believe there’s a perfect person out there who will see me and say, “Yes. Her.”
