Adobo is currently at the Petsmart in Pelham Manor after being adopted as a little kitten with her mama “Rosemary” . Her adoptive family neglected her for years , and we did not find out how sad she was until they told us nearly 4 years later . Our hearts absolutely shattered because when we rescued mama her her 4 babies , they were perfect little nuggets . Her babies , including Adobo , were happy , playful , purring and affectionate. During her time in adopter she became withdrawn and scared. We got her out as fast as we could but, the only place we had available was our Petsmart adoption center . Adobo has begun to trust , playful, and seek people again but, she really needs a loving foster our adopter to show her she won’t be neglected again and will be loved . Ideally her foster or forever home would have a separate room to give Adobo the time and patience to acclimate before being introduced to resident cats - trust humans first then other kitties . She’s with them at petsmart but she truly needs a separate, calm environment to realize she is safe and won’t be neglected again!

Adobo is otherwise healthy , she is spayed , negative for FIV and FELV, vaccinated, and microchipped.
